Saving for the Future
Guest post by Gerard Mcdaniel My husband and I recently decided to start saving for the future. We do not have any kids yet, but hope to start a family in the next year or two. In the current lifestyle we live, we spend money like crazy. We go out to eat all the time and travel a lot. We enjoy not having to worry about spending money on anybody else when we are on trips, but we know it will not be that way forever. The first step we made to save money is to look at different New York Energy Rates to see if we can save some money on our energy bill. We may not save a ton of money at first, but we figured that every little bit counts. We want to set aside money for our kids’ college funds. My husband and I both had a lot of student loans to repay when we got married and we hope that our kids will not have any loans to repay when they graduate from college. They will have plenty of other things to pay for once they are on their own. |
